Margaret “Maggie” Tharp, Vice President, Sr. Advisor

Maggie joined ANM Maritime Solutions Group P. A. in January 2016, after 10-plus years in the insurance industry as a licensed agent. Maggie and Alycia were team members two decade ago while at Tampa Bay Underwriters, Inc., a specialized marine insurance agency. Maggie is a native Floridian, growing up near Bradenton. She loves boating, fishing, and gardening and truly enjoys the Florida lifestyle.  Maggie serves the community as a local committee member for her son’s soccer league – serving as Secretary, as well as coach for a competitive team. She also volunteers for her daughter’s school and at her Church in the kid’s program. Maggie has achieved a great deal of experience since her start in the insurance industry over 20 years ago. She currently holds her 220 Insurance Agent license and 620 Independent Claims Adjuster license in Florida as well as her Agent license in other states. Her extensive knowledge of the different facets of the insurance industry range from Personal Lines to Commercial and Marine. She dedicates her time to providing clients with specialized and unique solutions for their oftentimes complex exposures. Maggie’s industry participation goes beyond the office. Maggie is also a member of the Tampa Bay Mariners Club, Inc., a not-for-profit marine industry organization.
