Alycia is a native Floridian who has spent her entire life on or near the water. For an 8-year period, she lived in Alaska as a youth. She enjoys the beauty of what is Florida and all that it has to offer. She has traveled extensively outside of the USA and has chosen to continue to live in her home "Sunshine" state. She enjoys cruising, boating, fishing, and the white sand beaches, and clear blue waters. She spends much of her time passionately pursuing furthering the education of others, including her clients, peers, and other insurance agents as an Instructor/Teacher. She started out in the Maritime Industry working in the financial division of American Shipbuilding Co. & Tampa Ship over 30 years ago and transitioned into the insurance industry 25 years ago by working for a Florida based insurance company, prior to obtaining her agent license and moving into the Marine Insurance arena at Tampa Bay Underwriters, Inc. (TBU) an independent insurance agency, specializing in marine insurance. TBU merged with a local St. Petersburg P&C Agency in 2008 and she served as Vice President - Commercial Marine Division until early 2013. Her passion for the marine insurance and maritime industries is unwavering, thus Alycia's commitment to providing exceptional and specialized services is why she founded ANM Maritime Solutions Group P.A. She is a Florida resident licensed 220 Insurance agent, a licensed Surplus Lines Agent and holds licenses in several other states as a non-resident agent. She also holds her 520 Independent Claims Adjuster license. She is approved as a Continuing Education Instructor for licensed insurance agents and adjusters by the Florida Division of Financial Services (Insurance Department) and an authorized OSHA –OTI USF Maritime Trainer and an approved provider for CE for the Construction Industry by the Construction Industry Licensing Board. Her background includes Accounting, Finance, Safety, Risk Management, and Insurance, specializing in Recreational, Ocean, and Commercial Marine Insurance. She holds the "Certified Marine Insurance Professional" designation and is extremely active in dedicating her time to the Maritime Industry through stewardship. She is married with adult sons and two grandchildren. She and her husband are avid “cruisers”, always taking a large ship somewhere on the open oceans. She prefers to be near the water, a lifestyle that she enjoys along with College Football, reading, spending time with family and friends, and hosting memorable events.
